The Pre-licensing course can be taken in the classroom or via online learning or virtual classroom. If you choose to enroll in the classroom version you will be awarded an MV-278 Pre-licensing Course Completion Certificate. All courses follow the same curriculum, no matter which version you take. When you have successfully completed your course, the company will report your achievement to the DMV automatically and you won't require the certificate at the time of taking your driver's exam.
